I received this email on Agoda through both the app and my email inbox. It appears suspicious, prompting me to conduct a Google search, where I found instances of victims reporting a similar situation. According to their accounts, it seems that scammers have successfully hacked into the systems of either the hotel or Agoda itself. One victim went so far as to contact Agoda customer service, only to discover that the customer service representative had been replaced by a scammer.
