Loan Scam
I recently lost my job and was desperate for rent money and I was stressed to not have a place to stay.

I found "Kim En? Finance" on Facebook filled up to apply. The next morning a person call Kim En? message me via WhatsApp. Asked for my payslip and IC after sending me a photo of his name card I also double check the list of money lenders. I asked for a 2000 loan he told me I needed to send 250 a month upfront to indicate I can make monthly payments. I agree he send all a contract.

I send the 250 and he then message and send a message after due to you sending the bank needs a validation fee to send the money. I got suspicious and he send a fake OUB screenshot. The next day I send 250. A manager call me and said MAs required a fee of 300 to immediate transfer. It was than it hit me that this was a scam a email send also had MAS logo on it but learn after contacting MAS that it was a fake. I than proceeded to make a police report and that company became uncontactable.
