PayPal Email Scam
WHAT IS A PAYPAL EMAIL SCAM?
You're selling an item on eBay or Carousell. A buyer agrees to make payment through PayPal. They send you an email that looks like it's from PayPal, stating that the money has been sent. You're asked to provide shipment details or pay an admin fee before the payment can be released. Under the impression that it is a legitimate instruction from PayPal, you mail the item to the scammer or make payments.
Look out for these scam signs
